Some of you may have heard of the funding site, Indiegogo. If you haven't, it's basically a site where you can post projects you're working on and set the funding goal you need to complete the project. People from around the world can then pledge certain amounts toward the final goal. If enough people pledge to fund it by the deadline, you receive all that money. If the goal isn't met, the accounts of everyone who pledged remains untouched. So in essence, if enough people believe in your project, it gets funded.
Have a look at this animated film which is being created by various artists over the internet. It has already exceeded its funding goal, which means that they will be receiving more than they bargained for.

Class prep 13/03
Hi everyone
Please bring along paper to draw on (A3 sketchbook or larger), a pencil and a ruler for tomorrow's class. You're going to have class time to work on your set design ideas, so start thinking about what you want it to look like.
